Sugar may be the single worst ingredient in today’s American diet.
The effects of belly fat gain, lowered metabolism, insulin resistance, high triglycerides and more are from eating too much sugar.
And, people who eat the most sugar are at a much greater risk of getting heart disease, Type 2 diabetes and even cancer!
Since you want to lose weight, realize, too, that sugar is fattening. Basically because it doesn’t get “registered” in the same way as other calories by the brain—so we eat more.
And, the kicker is that studies show that people who eat the most sugar are at a high risk of future weight gain and obesity.
So, what’s your best bet? Start cutting down on your sugar consumption.
Personally, I still have some sugar in my diet now and then, but the days of eating lots of sugar are far behind me now.
