Is Whole Wheat Bread Really That Good?

Not all bread is created equal. And, before you buy some for you and your family, read the packaging.

For instance, many people don’t know that Whole Wheat Bread isn’t really bread from whole wheat.

What?!

Yes…

Just be sure that your bread says these words on the front: 100% Whole Wheat. And, read the label. It should say “100% whole grains.”

Make sure that whole wheat, oats or other whole grains are listed as the first ingredient, rather than refined flours. Breads lower in fiber tend to list “whole wheat flour” as a first ingredient.
